TV sizes are always measured diagonally from one corner of the screen to the opposite corner, excluding the bezel (frame).
Understanding Aspect Ratios
Most modern TVs use a 16:9 aspect ratio. For a 55-inch TV: width ≈ 47.9 inches, height ≈ 27.0 inches.

- Bedroom: 32–43 inches
- Living room: 50–65 inches
- Home theater: 65–85+ inches
Viewing Distance Guide (4K)
- 43" → 3.6–5.4 ft
- 55" → 4.6–6.9 ft
- 65" → 5.4–8.1 ft
- 75" → 6.3–9.4 ft
