Concrete Calculations
Volume: Length × Width × Depth. Convert to cubic yards (divide cubic feet by 27).
Example: 10 ft × 12 ft × 0.33 ft (4 in) = 39.6 cu ft = 1.47 cubic yards
Common Construction Conversions
- 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet
- 1 square (roofing) = 100 sq ft
- 1 board foot = 144 cubic inches
- 1 acre = 43,560 sq ft
Rebar Spacing
Common rebar sizes: #3 (3/8"), #4 (1/2"), #5 (5/8"), #6 (3/4"). Typical spacing: 12" or 18" on center.
